Join our cohesive team, where you’ll have numerous chances to enhance your professional development, encompassing both technical and leadership aspects. You are innovative, driven by engineering excellence and create code that is highly maintainable, testable and easily readable by other team members. You have an ability for understanding overall system architecture and making the appropriate design decisions to get the job done. You possess strong problem-solving skills and you are equally able to work on design and implementation as well as troubleshooting root cause analysis. About You: You are passionate about technology and are excited about being part of a team that makes a positive social impact in higher education. You have at least 1-3 years of experience in front-end, back-end, and relational database programming. You possess strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. You also understand the distinction between striving for excellence and pursuing perfection. You enjoy working in a team-based collaborative environment, are proactive and with a strong sense of ownership. You have a strong work ethic, sense of ownership, and a constant willingness to learn new technologies. You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience. You have United States work authorization and currently live in the United States. The Technical Skills You Need: Ability to use a Javascript or Typescript frontend framework to design and implement UI components; Angular 21 experience preferred. Ability to build endpoints, handlers, and data accessors using C# in a .NET 10 backend. Comfortable with asynchronous programming, LINQ, and dependency injection patterns. Strong knowledge of relational databases including transactions, stored procedures, and mapping EF Core to Postgres schemas. Experience and understanding of Docker, developing in containers, and distributing them. Ability to integrate cloud provided SDKs and ecosystem into code and operations. Knowledge of technical authentication and authorization integrations using JWT and SSO frameworks. Version and change control experience; Git experience required. The Soft Skills You Need: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, understanding overall project goals and client needs. Experience working on a software engineering team with business stakeholders such as Product Managers, and other internal stakeholders. Strong communication skills that allow you to provide clear feedback during code reviews, and when presenting your own work/ideas. Bonus Skills: Experience with CI/CD in Azure Pipelines. Experience with Google Cloud ecosystem. Experience upgrading and maintaining legacy applications to newer technologies. Working knowledge of WebRTC, SignalR, and other browser streaming technologies. Higher education and/or EdTech experience.
