As a Software Engineer at Tive, you will contribute to designing and developing a large-scale data processing and analytics system that helps our customers monitor, analyze and predict shipments in the supply chain. You’ll work closely with a team of full-stack engineers, collaborating on technical solutions, writing high-quality code, and participating in code reviews and architecture discussions. We highly value engineers who take initiative, demonstrate ownership over their work, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. We’re looking for someone who is eager to collaborate, share knowledge with teammates, and actively participate in technical discussions and decision-making Our ideal candidate has: 3+ years of successful history in software engineering positions, Experience with multi-tier web application development, Proficiency with server-side languages such as C#, Proficiency with front-end frameworks such as Angular, Experience with AWS hosting environments, Familiarity with databases such as SQL Server and/or Postgres, A strong desire to learn, teach, and collaborate with the team. In addition, they may have: Experience using Docker and/or Kubernetes to build containerized applications, Deep understanding of SQL Server, including database design, T-SQL, stored procedures, indexing, and query optimization techniques. Experience with big data streaming platforms such as AWS Kinesis or Apache Kafka, What you’ll be doing: You will contribute to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, from coding and testing responsive web applications to managing databases and APIs. You will offer guidance to team members through code reviews, pair programming, and mentorship. You will coordinate efforts as your team creates a data processing and analytics system, You will work to build strong relationships with and support co-workers, including remote peers in other time zones.
