We're a strong community, working with modern JavaScript and TypeScript technologies and deploying on AWS, GCP, and Azure, often leveraging serverless architectures. As a Expirienced Software Engineer, you will own products end to end - from architecture and design, through implementation and release, to monitoring and scalings.

We are looking for a experienced engineer whose core depth is React Native and mobile development, and who brings a T-shaped mindset: strong in mobile, curious and capable across the rest of the stack.

Project, teams, requirements & duties

What you will be working on?

• Design, build, and maintain production-grade React Native applications for iOS and Android

• Own features end to end - from refinement and architecture, through implementation and testing, to store release and post-release monitoring

• Solve complex technical challenges with elegant, scalable solutions that push our mobile stack forward

• Work with the native layer where needed

• Own the release process - CI/CD for mobile and App Store and Google Play submissions

• Write robust unit, component, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality and reliability

• Collaborate closely with project managers, PO, UX/UI designers, and test developers to deliver a seamless mobile experience

• Support operational excellence through practices like code review and pair programming

• Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up with industry trends and integrating new technologies where they add value

• Mentor and guide less experienced developers

What do we expect from you?

• 3+ years of experience in the software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

• Strong commercial experience with React Native, with apps you have shipped and maintained in production

• Solid mobile development background and understanding of the iOS and Android platforms, their guidelines, and their release processes

• Excellent knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript

• Experience with mobile state management and data-fetching approaches (Redux Toolkit, Zustand, TanStack Query, or similar)

• Experience with Expo and/or the bare React Native workflow, including native build configuration

• Experience designing and consuming RESTful or GraphQL APIs

• Experience with mobile testing using tools like Jest, React Native Testing Library, Detox, Maestro, or similar

• Proficiency with version control systems, especially Git

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile (Fastlane, EAS, Bitrise, GitHub Actions, or similar) and cloud-based deployment practices

• Ability to debug and profile across the JavaScript and native layers, and to analyze and troubleshoot technical issues

• Proficiency with AI-assisted development tooling such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, and Cursor - using it daily to move faster while keeping the quality, security, and review bar high

• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts

• Familiarity with both SQL and NoSQL database principles

• Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken

Nice to have:

T-shaped experience beyond React Native, for example:

• Native mobile development - iOS (Swift, Objective-C) or Android (Kotlin, Java)

• Modern web frontend - React, Next.js

• Backend development in Node.js, such as NestJS or Express

• Good knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3

• Experience/understanding of cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure), microservice and serverless architectures

• Experience with mobile analytics, crash reporting, and observability tools (Firebase, Sentry, or similar)

• Experience with design systems and accessibility on mobile

Our team:

Depending on the project, our teams typically include software engineers, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, and a delivery manager, while the Product Owner is usually on the client side.
