Software Engineer

An established defence technology business is looking for a technical specialist to join the software engineering team. The role focuses on the development and implementation of advanced vehicle IT architectures and systems within a collaborative environment. The successful candidate will contribute to the full software lifecycle, from initial architecture support to implementation and testing.

What you'll be doing

• Developing software units, components, and modules for complex land systems

• Implementing forward-thinking vehicle IT architectures and interfaces

• Creating high-quality code, comprehensive documentation, and associated unit tests

• Supporting the design and documentation of software architectures

• Maintaining and updating existing software systems to ensure long-term performance

What we're looking for

• A degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field

• Proven experience in object-oriented programming and software development

• Familiarity with implementing communication protocols and hardware interfaces

• An analytical mindset with a strong ability to develop complex algorithms

• Professional proficiency in German (minimum B2/C1 level) for business communication
