Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications tailored to the needs of the trucking and heavy equipment industry.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and company standards.
• Develop and execute unit tests to ensure software reliability and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.
• Participate in code reviews to uphold quality and share knowledge within the team.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our software solutions.
• Assist with the deployment and integration of software systems into existing infrastructure.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in software development with proficiency in languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
• Experience with database design and SQL query optimization.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of cloud services and deployment environments is a plus but not required.
