Software Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Software Developer with a strong background in .NET Core and C# to design, develop, maintain, and enhance software applications within a modern engineering environment.

The role is primarily focused on hands-on software development, including backend development, application maintenance, technical improvements, debugging, testing, and integration with other systems.

You will collaborate with architects, cloud engineers, and other developers within an international and remote technical team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET Core and C#.

• Develop robust and maintainable backend services, APIs, and business logic.

• Analyse existing applications and implement enhancements, fixes, and technical improvements.

• Participate in the design and implementation of new software features.

• Develop and maintain integrations with internal and external systems.

• Write clean, reusable, testable, and maintainable code.

• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, defects, and technical problems.

• Perform code reviews and contribute to software development best practices.

• Create and maintain unit and integration tests.

• Support application modernization and code migration activities.

• Work with relational databases and implement efficient data access logic.

• Collaborate with Technical Architects, Cloud Engineers, and other Software Developers.

• Maintain technical documentation related to applications and implemented solutions.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience with .NET Core and C#.

• Solid experience in backend software development.

• Experience developing REST APIs and web services.

• Good understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and software design principles.

• Experience working with relational databases and SQL.

• Familiarity with Git-based source control.

• Understanding of unit testing and integration testing.

• Experience debugging, maintaining, and improving existing applications.

• Good understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good English communication skills and ability to work within an international remote team.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Microsoft Azure.

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.

• Experience with Docker and containerized applications.

• Exposure to CI/CD environments and automated deployments.

• Experience working on application modernization or migration projects.
