A Series B healthcare AI company is hiring its first Forward Deployed Engineers. 5 openings.

They build a platform that lets hospitals create and deploy AI agents for clinical and operational work. It's already live inside some of the most respected health systems in the US, running across millions of patient records. Revenue grew 30x last year. Backed by YC and top-tier VCs. Small team, 7 engineers, real ownership from day one.

THE ROLE

You sit between the code and the clinic.

- Meet physicians, hospital IT and clinical champions to understand how work actually gets done

- Turn loosely defined clinical ideas into production-ready AI agents

- Build and deploy end to end, including evals to prove they work

- Keep improving deployed agents based on clinical guidelines and real feedback

- Own the full loop: from a physician flagging a problem to the platform being fixed, in days

WHAT YOU NEED

- BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or another STEM subject

- 1–6 years in full-stack or forward deployed engineering (no new grads)

- Strong Python on the backend, plus React and TypeScript on the frontend

- A standout in your background: a top CS program, an early role at a high-growth VC-backed startup, a founding engineer role, or a fast promotion at a high-bar company

- Comfortable in front of customers, and you stay long enough to see your work land

- $200K–$300K base plus equity

- 4 days a week in the San Francisco office
