Software Engineer

We are currently looking for a Software Engineer to join our team of consultants on an indefinite basis, located in UK. Responsibilities or duties:  As part of the Central Test Technology Team reporting to the, POS Module Manager (Post assembly/Testing). Your duties shall involve the Software creation and maintenance test systems. Specifically to: Actively participate as a member of an international multi-disciplined team working on engineering systems Complete the full life cycle encompassing concept, design, coding, testing, documentation, end user training and support Possibly commission at one of our overseas production sites Work on pre-existing software to add new functionality and improvements Maintenance of production systems across several UK and Global sites Actively finding innovative solutions to production related problems What are we looking for?  Diploma/ Degree in Software Engineering or similar Strong competency/experience in C++ Microsoft Visual Studio IDE, C#, SQL, VB6 International team player Good analytical skills Excellent English language skills essential Willing to travel worldwide Desirable:  Automotive, electrical testing, vision testing & production systems Embedded C and/or assembly language for μControllers (Microchip especially) Website design and associated technologies Experience in TCP/IP communications Benefits:  Competitive Salary dependent on experience 34 holidays per annum on joining  Company Contributory Workplace Pension Cashplan Healthcare Scheme 37.5 hour working week (early finish Friday) Flexible Working Policy (including working from home and hybrid working).
