Software Engineer – AI Agents

Position Overview We are seeking a product-minded Software Engineer with strong technical depth and a passion for AI-driven product development. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building intelligent systems, rapidly prototyping new ideas, and designing scalable production-grade AI applications. The ideal candidate will combine strong backend engineering fundamentals with creativity in applying LLM technologies to solve real-world customer and business challenges. You will work closely with senior leadership and a small, highly collaborative team to help shape next-generation AI-powered workflows and customer experiences. This is a full-time remote opportunity, with preference for candidates located in or near the San Francisco Bay Area for occasional onsite collaboration. Key Responsibilities Rapidly prototype AI-powered product concepts and proof-of-concept (POC) solutions Design and build production-ready LLM pipelines and AI agent systems Develop AI-driven applications that leverage customer and marketing data to generate insights and automate workflows Collaborate closely with product and engineering leadership to explore and launch new product initiatives Evaluate and recommend AI architectures, models, and frameworks based on scalability and product needs Build intelligent data agents capable of answering analytics and business intelligence questions Create seamless AI-assisted user experiences by deeply understanding customer workflows Participate in technical architecture discussions and contribute to long-term platform strategy Balance rapid experimentation with scalable engineering best practices Required Qualifications 4–12 years of professional software engineering experience Strong backend engineering and system architecture experience Product-minded approach with strong customer empathy and business understanding Experience building scalable software products in fast-paced environments Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern software development practices Ability to rapidly prototype while also designing maintainable production systems Strong communication and collaboration skills Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive projects from concept to launch Growth mindset with strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills Preferred Qualifications Experience working with AI/ML products or LLM-powered applications Familiarity with AI orchestration, prompt engineering, or agentic workflows Experience building customer-facing SaaS platforms Startup or high-growth company experience Exposure to marketing technology, analytics, customer data platforms, or data infrastructure Experience working closely with executive leadership or cross-functional product teams Tech Stack TypeScript AI/LLM frameworks and orchestration tools Modern cloud-based application infrastructure Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary ($200K – $320K DOE) Competitive equity package Full-time remote flexibility Visa sponsorship available for qualified candidates Opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI product initiatives with high ownership and visibility
