Als Software Engineer bei Lam bist du an vorderster Front der Innovation tätig, indem du Softwareprogramme entwirfst, entwickelst, Fehler analysierst und behebst sowie Debugging durchführst. Du spielst eine entscheidende Rolle bei der Entwicklung von Software-Tools, die Design-, Infrastruktur- und Technologieplattformen unterstützen. Mit deinem Fachwissen stellst du die Hardwarekompatibilität sicher und beeinflusst das Design maßgeblich, damit Software und Hardware nahtlos zusammenspielen.
In dieser Rolle hast du die Möglichkeit, einen Beitrag zum gesamten Produktportfolio von Lam zu leisten. Du arbeitest in unserem zentralen Software-Engineering-Team und kooperierst mit einigen der klügsten Köpfe der Branche.
Deine Aufgaben
- Entwicklung von industrieller Software zur Prozesssteuerung, Automatisierung und Visualisierung
- Mitwirkung bei der Erstellung von Software-Konzepten und Architekturentscheidungen
- Weiterentwicklung der bestehenden Software und Implementierung von neuen Features
- Abstimmung mit benachbarten Bereichen wie Elektrokonstruktion und mechanischer Konstruktion (Fluid Flow), Controls und Systems Engineering
- Technische Abklärung im Projektteam
- Unterstützung bei der Auswahl von Komponenten
- Test und Verifikation eigener Entwicklungen in Simulationsumgebung
- Durchführung von Integrationstests an neuen Maschinentypen oder Testständen
- Umgang mit Versionsverwaltung und DevOps-Prozessen in KI gestützter Entwicklungsumgebung
- Zusammenarbeit mit internationalen Projektteams und Möglichkeit zu gelegentlichen Auslandsreisen
Wen wir suchen
Minimum Qualifikationen
- Abgeschlossene technische Ausbildung (HTL/Bachelor/Master/Diplom) in Computer Science, Elektrotechnik, Elektronik, Mechatronik oder vergleichbarem Fachgebiet
- Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung in industrieller Softwareentwicklung oder Automatisierungstechnik
- Solide Kenntnisse in mindestens einer relevanten Programmiersprache wie C++, C# oder Structured Text
- Erfahrung mit Objekt orientierten Desing Patterns, State Machines und Multithreading
- Sichere fachliche Kommunikation in Englisch
- Selbstständige, eigenverantwortliche und strukturierte Arbeitsweise
- Sehr gute Kommunikations- und Organisationsfähigkeiten
- Belastbarkeit, Flexibilität und Teamfähigkeit
- Lösungsorientierung
Bevorzugte Qualifikationen
- Leseverständnis für Elektro- und Fluidpläne
- Grundlegende Kenntnisse der Maschinenrichtlinie, ISO 13849, EN IEC 81346 und EN 60204
- Kenntnisse weiterer Standards wie SEMI oder UL von Vorteil
Was wir bieten
Diese Position unterliegt dem österreichischen Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte der Metalltechnischen Industrie in der Beschäftigungsgruppe F, abhängig von deinem Ausbildungshintergrund. Eine höhere Vergütung ist je nach deiner Qualifikation und deinen Fähigkeiten verhandelbar. Das Monatsgehalt wird 14-mal pro Jahr ausbezahlt.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
