Be part of something bigger. Decode the future.
At Electrolux, as a leading global appliance company, we strive every day to shape living for the better for our consumers, our people and our planet. We share ideas and collaborate so that together, we can develop solutions that deliver enjoyable and sustainable living.
Come join us as you are. We believe diverse perspectives make us stronger and more innovative. In our global community of people from 100+ countries, we listen to each other, actively contribute, and grow together.
About the Role
Join a global engineering organization building AI-powered digital experiences used by millions of consumers worldwide.
We're rebuilding the real-time event and consumer backbone that every consumer-facing product at Electrolux depends on. You'll help shape and evolve this platform, from event streams through the analytics datasets built on them.
What You'll Do
- Design and build highly scalable cloud-native services, APIs, event streams, and data pipelines processing customer data and business events at global scale
- Design and implement asynchronous messaging with Kafka and cloud-native equivalents (e.g. Azure Event Hub, Google Pub/Sub)
- Design and maintain consumer analytics datasets, data models and transformation workflows via modern data platforms (e.g. dbt, Spark, Databricks) to support reporting, personalization and AI use cases
- Collaborate with senior engineers and architects to design solutions across APIs, event streams, and distributed systems
- Translate ambiguous business problems (working with product, data, and business teams) into scalable technical solutions
- Ensure data privacy and consent-aware processing aligned with regulations such as GDPR and CCPA
- Participate in code reviews, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Own what you build: take responsibility for reliability, operations, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement in production
Who You Are
Must-have:
- 3-5 years building distributed systems and cloud-native applications in production
- Strong programming skills in at least one language such as Java, Python, or Go
- Experience designing APIs, microservices, authN/authZ, and integration architectures
- Understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architectures
- Solid SQL and data-modeling skills with experience building data pipelines
- Production experience on Azure, or GCP
- Kubernetes, containerization, CI/CD, monitoring, and production-ops experience
Nice-to-have:
- Familiarity with AI, machine learning, generative AI, or intelligent automation
- Experience with customer data, identity, engagement, personalization, or digital-experience platforms
- Experience with Databricks, Spark, dbt, or modern analytics engineering practices
- Contributions to open-source projects (GitHub profile welcome)
Work Location: Bangalore, full time
Benefits highlights
- Flexible work hours/hybrid work environment
- Discounts on our award-winning Electrolux products and services
- Family-friendly benefits
- Extensive learning opportunities and flexible career path.
