Software Engineer (Elasticsearch) at BairesDev

As a Software Engineer specializing in Elasticsearch, you will build and operate robust search infrastructure to power high-performance data retrieval. You will play a key role in optimizing how large-scale datasets are indexed and queried, ensuring that engineering teams can deliver seamless and relevant search experiences to users.

What You'll Do:

- Design and implement scalable Elasticsearch architectures and indexing strategies for complex datasets.

- Optimize search relevance through advanced tuning of analyzers, mappings, and scoring functions.

- Manage and scale production-grade Elasticsearch clusters, ensuring high availability and performance.

- Develop and maintain search-related microservices and integrations using Lucene-based technologies.

- Monitor cluster health and perform capacity planning to support growing data and query volumes.

- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define search requirements and improve data discoverability.

What we are looking for:

- 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on search infrastructure.

- Proven expertise in building and operating search systems powered by Elasticsearch.

- Proficiency in designing index strategies and performing relevance tuning.

- Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch cluster management and Lucene.

- Advanced proficiency in English.
