What We're Looking For

• Solid experience designing, developing, testing, and monitoring applications in high-availability SaaS environments
• Strong software engineering experience with Go or Java, with the ability and willingness to work across multiple programming languages
• Experience designing and developing distributed, event-driven services and scalable backend systems
• Experience building production applications in cloud environments such as AWS or GCP
• Strong understanding of secure software development practices, including areas such as OWASP, vulnerability assessment, threat modeling, secure code review, data protection, encryption, authentication, and authorization
• Experience working with microservice architectures and large-scale event ingestion platforms
• Familiarity with real-time communication technologies such as WebSockets, Kafka, MQTT, or similar messaging technologies
• Experience with non-relational databases such as DynamoDB and familiarity with relational databases, caching, and object storage technologies
• Understanding of networking, DevOps, and cloud infrastructure concepts relevant to distributed applications
• Experience developing applications that maintain continuous connectivity with client software is highly valued
• Strong quality mindset, including automated testing, performance tuning, refactoring, monitoring, and continuous improvement
• Ability to make data-driven engineering decisions and understand the production impact of software changes
• Experience contributing across the complete software development lifecycle, from technical design and specifications through implementation and production operation
• Strong ownership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work autonomously while collaborating closely with the broader engineering team
• Excellent English communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional, distributed teams

Build and evolve highly available, event-driven systems that support large-scale communication with software agents deployed across multiple operating systems. Work across backend services, cloud infrastructure, security, and real-time messaging to deliver reliable and scalable production software.
