About the Role
SITS Group is looking for a Software Engineer to join its team in Jona or Basel, Switzerland. In this role, you’ll design, develop, and integrate modern software applications using C# and .NET, contributing to solutions that support IT security and help customers build a safer digital future.
You’ll work closely with the Product Manager to understand requirements, develop user-friendly applications, and maintain high software quality standards. The position also offers opportunities to contribute to areas such as authentication, digital signatures, and encryption while working with a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
•Design, develop, and integrate modern applications using C# and .NET.
•Gather and analyze requirements in collaboration with the Product Manager.
•Build high-quality, user-friendly software solutions that address customer needs.
•Develop and maintain web applications, web services, user interfaces, databases, and backend systems.
•Ensure software quality by following internal guidelines, standards, and established engineering practices.
•Provide technical guidance and serve as a knowledgeable point of contact for technical and subject-related questions.
•Contribute to software solutions involving IT security, authentication, digital signatures, and encryption.
•Collaborate with colleagues to deliver reliable applications and support customer requirements.
Required Qualifications & Technical Skills
•A degree from a university of applied sciences or an equivalent qualification, along with practical experience.
•Strong software engineering skills and proficiency in C# and the current .NET platform.
•Experience developing web applications, web services, user interfaces, databases, and backend systems.
•Interest in IT security, authentication, digital signatures, and encryption.
•Analytical and conceptual thinking skills, with the ability to understand requirements and develop effective solutions.
•Ability to learn quickly, communicate clearly, and work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
•Good German and English language skills.
Preferred Qualifications
•Knowledge of Blazor, .NET Aspire, and Wolverine.
•Familiarity with additional programming languages such as Java or Go.
Work Arrangement & Working Hours
•Location: Jona or Basel, Switzerland.
•Working hours: 42 hours per week.
