We are expanding HomeToGo’s technology teams in Lithuania and Poland and are looking for the brightest talents to join the company.

As a Software Engineer (PHP), you will join the team behind HomeToGo's revenue platform, which sits at the centre of the company's financial operations, from the revenue earned across its brands to the money exchanged with its partners. The platform is deeply integrated with Salesforce, SAP and partner systems. Teams throughout the company depend on its output, which makes understanding the business processes a part of your job. You will work with rich domain logic, enterprise integrations and the engineering discipline that keeps a critical platform reliable, observable and easy to evolve. You will take ownership of features and see them through to production, in direct collaboration with business and technical stakeholders across the company. The team is experienced and values solid engineering, effective feedback and honest conversations about trade-offs.

In this role, you will

  • Implement and evolve the rules that determine what the company earns and what it owes its partners, based on requirements from business stakeholders
  • Build and maintain the API- and event-based integrations that keep the platform consistent with Salesforce, SAP, payment systems and booking providers, in close collaboration with engineering teams across HomeToGo
  • Extend the platform with LLM-based tooling, from MCP servers that expose its data safely to business teams and AI agents, to agent workflows that automate operational work
  • Deliver trustworthy data to Finance and Business Intelligence, from the exports that feed the data warehouse to the alerting and quality checks around them
  • Replace manual financial workflows with automated, tested processes, in collaboration with the teams who run them today
  • Keep the platform reliable and observable, using Grafana, Prometheus and Kibana to monitor it in production, respond to incidents, find root causes and turn recurring problems into lasting fixes
  • Work across a set of applications written in modern PHP on Symfony 7 and 8, backed by MySQL, Redis and RabbitMQ, deployed on Kubernetes alongside AWS managed services
  • Take part in the platform's technical evolution, including completing its move to Kubernetes, regular framework and dependency upgrades as well as the retirement of legacy components
  • Take ownership of your features from refinement to production, and take an active part in code review, planning and retrospectives

    • What you will bring

  • 2+ years of professional backend development, in PHP and Symfony or in another object-oriented language with the willingness to make PHP your main one
  • Solid knowledge of relational databases: schema design, transactions, indexes and the ability to reason about a query plan
  • Practical experience with LLM-based tools, both as a user in your daily engineering work and as a builder: MCP servers, agent frameworks such as Google ADK, or comparable projects of your own
  • A habit of writing tests as part of your normal workflow, and a serious attitude to static analysis and code review
  • Willingness to work directly with business stakeholders and to invest time in understanding their processes as thoroughly as the code that supports them
  • The ability to explain technical decisions to people outside engineering, and to ask precise questions when a requirement is unclear
  • Continuous learning as a habit, whether that means a new tool, a new part of the business or a better way of working the team has agreed on
  • Working English, spoken and written. The team works daily with colleagues across Europe and beyond
    • Nice to have:
  • Experience building and consuming APIs, and some exposure to asynchronous or message-based processing with RabbitMQ, Kinesis, SQS or similar
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes and AWS managed services
  • Familiarity with Grafana, Prometheus, Kibana or a comparable monitoring stack

    • Salary range: € 3000 - 5500 gross / month
