A PHP Developer builds and maintains server-side web applications. Responsibilities include writing scalable code, designing backend architecture, and integrating databases. Key Responsibilities Server-Side Development: Writing clean, reusable, and secure PHP code. Database Management: Designing and optimizing MySQL, MariaDB, or PostgreSQL databases. API Integration: Building and consuming RESTful APIs for third-party and frontend services. Maintenance: Troubleshooting performance bottlenecks and fixing application bugs. Collaboration: Working alongside front-end developers, designers, and project managers in an Agile environment. Required Qualifications Languages: Advanced knowledge of Object-Oriented PHP. Frameworks: Proficiency in frameworks like Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter, or CakePHP. Web Technologies: Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery. Tools: Understanding of Git version control and dependency managers like Composer. CMS Platforms: Experience with WordPress, WooCommerce, or Magento Soft Skills Excellent communication skills.
