YOUR ROLE:
We're hiring a Software Engineer, QA to join our QA Team and play a pivotal role in shaping the backbone of our innovative Software as a Service (SaaS) products. This isn't a typical QA role: we're looking for someone who's already adapted to building testing software in the AI era — who thinks in test systems, moves comfortably across the stack, and treats AI tools as part of the craft, not a shortcut around it. Someone willing to contribute to the entire development lifecycle - from conceptualization to deployment and deliver solutions that guarantee the quality, speed, and reliability of products.

You'll join a team with strong engineering proficiency that spends its time on problems that actually matter and shares a real passion for building products from the ground up, regardless of stack.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Integrate AI-powered workflows into daily QA activities by leveraging effective prompting, orchestrating AI agents, and critically evaluating AI-generated tests and tools to ensure quality and reliability;
Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable Playwright testing applications with appropriate tech like sharding, parallelism, matrix jobs, and CI/CD mastery;
Maintain and improve test software architecture;
Work fluently in Git within a collaborative, multi-engineer workflow;
Partner closely with Product Managers, Feature Software Engineers, QA Software Engineers, and DevOps to ship features end-to-end. Be responsible for systems and products that serve 3M+ websites;
Write efficient tests, optimize suite run times and analyze test results to pinpoint problems accurately;
Develop tests for new features with a fast cadence to match the rhythm of product features;
Share knowledge, challenge ideas, and continuously raise the bar for our engineering practices and the team.
OUR EXPECTATIONS:
A demonstrated AI-leveraged workflow — comfortable weaving AI into your daily development, paired with the judgment to know when to trust its output and when not to;
Solid grasp of OOP, SOLID principles, design patterns, and different testing strategies;
Deep understanding of HTTP and RESTful APIs;
Ability to break down complex problems and implement practical solutions;
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or the equivalent gained through hands-on experience like independent research, open-source work, or a technical write-up sharp enough to speak for itself.
