About Anavai

We are an early stage Performance-tech startup, building the industry’s first ‘Generative Design Engine’ for Incentives. Current systems are static and backward-looking; we are creating a dynamic, AI-driven model that uses behavioural data to design pay plans & structures (core to this is our Deterministic AI algorithm with polymorphic functionality).

Founded by a seasoned industry professional (with 12+ yrs in HR, Consulting and IT), Anavai’s mission is to unlock top performance by fixing a broken link between productivity, motivation and rewards.

About Role: "The Builder"

This is not a typical "write the code" or "fix a button" internship. You will effectively act as a Founding Engineer who works across the stack — on our Beta product and enhancing/shipping new features. You will work directly with the founder/founding team to turn complex concepts into an intuitive, market-ready product.

What you will actually build

Augment our live Beta platform, anavai-platform — where users design, simulate, and (via our new Agentic AI layer) conversationally tune the relationship between Performance and Pay.

• End-to-End Development: move fast from wireframes to high-fidelity UI/UX, and from API design to a working backend.
• Translate Algo & Backend to Visuals: take abstract concepts (pay curves, performance thresholds) and design interactive UI components (sliders, toggle switches, graphs) seamlessly linked to the backend.
• Extend the Simulator & Agentic AI: our ‘what-if’ payout simulator and AI-driven plan design are already live — help us take them further.
• Backend & Integration: develop the backend of the application and integrate it with anavai-engine.
• DB integration with multi-tenant architecture.
• Website development: custom landing pages, visual assets, user-friendly look & feel with clean and relevant placement of sub sections.
• Design infra: component library, typography, palette etc for future scale-up.

• Frontend: Next.js / React on Firebase App Hosting (app.anavai.in)
• Backend: Python/FastAPI on Cloud Run (two services)
• Data: PostgreSQL on Cloud SQL
• AI: model agnostic agentic pipeline powering in-product conversational plan design and tuning
