Software Engineering Lead

What you'll be doing 🎨

• Design, build, test, deploy and maintain our internal and external products using Typescript, Node, React, GraphQL.

• Maintain and improve our infrastructure and processes (e.g. server architecture, continuous integration, alerting / monitoring, analytics).

• Lead engineering within a small startup team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

• Ensure engineers on the team are performing and growing. Create growth plans, give feedback, and address poor performance.

• Collaborate with our product manager, designers, and other stakeholders to scope, plan, and prioritize projects

• Brainstorm and analyze opportunities to improve the quality of our product and systems.

• Work remotely with a team that is distributed around the world. We don’t mind when you work, as long as you’re available between 9am and 12pm Pacific Time.

• You're experienced at developing single-page web applications on modern web architectures. You have 4+ years of experience doing so, and 7+ years of experience as an engineer.

• You like getting things off the ground. You have demonstrated experience owning full-stack applications end-to-end.

• You have demonstrated experience planning and leading projects with multiple engineers.

• You enjoy sharing your knowledge, supporting others in their growth, and helping them shine.

• You enjoy wearing many hats and quickly shifting gears. We're a small team and one day will look very different from the next.
