Software Test Engineer

An established defence technology business is looking for a technical professional to join the team and support the development of complex systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of integrated hardware and software solutions through rigorous evaluation processes. The role involves working within a collaborative environment that values technical precision and systematic problem-solving.

What you'll be doing

• Building, maintaining, and developing automated frameworks for both hardware and software.

• Creating detailed specifications and defining scenarios based on technical requirements.

• Performing manual and automated procedures within laboratory and simulation environments.

• Analysing and documenting results in close coordination with development teams.

• Contributing to the continuous improvement of quality assurance methodologies.

What we're looking for

• A degree in computer science, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or a related field.

• Experience in embedded systems, automotive technology, or safety-related control units.

• Proficiency in modern automation tools, communication protocols, and diagnostic systems.

• Familiarity with development management tools, version control, and agile methodologies.

• Fluency in German (C1 level) and professional proficiency in English.
