Job Title: Senior Software Tester

Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Tester to join an exciting project focused on cybersecurity and data protection applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring software quality by analyzing requirements, designing and executing test cases, managing defects, and maintaining comprehensive test documentation.

You will work closely with technical teams to ensure that applications meet business requirements, quality standards, and established governance processes.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Analyze business and technical requirements, specifications, and acceptance criteria.
• Develop, document, maintain, and execute test cases and test campaigns.
• Prepare test data, datasets, and prerequisites required for testing activities.
• Perform functional and regression testing to ensure application quality.
• Identify, document, qualify, and track defects and anomalies.
• Follow up on corrective actions and verify implemented fixes.
• Ensure traceability between requirements, risks, test cases, results, and defects.
• Prepare test reports, provide regular progress updates, and contribute to continuous improvement of testing practices.
• Support the quality assurance process in line with established governance and procedures.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Solid experience in software testing methodologies and techniques.
• Strong knowledge of functional testing and regression testing.
• Experience in analyzing requirements, technical specifications, and acceptance criteria.
• Expertise in designing, documenting, and maintaining test cases and test campaigns.
• Good knowledge of test management tools such as Jira Xray or equivalent.
• Experience with OpenText ALM or similar test management platforms.
• Practical experience with test automation tools or frameworks such as:
• Tricentis Tosca
• Robot Framework
• Playwright
• Selenium or equivalent automation frameworks.
• Strong defect management, documentation, and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a technical team.
