Solution Architect Practice Area: Oracle Utilities (MDM, CC&B, CCS, C2M) Employment Type: Full‑Time Location: Remote Role Summary The Solution Architect is responsible for designing end‑to‑end technical and functional solutions aligned to client business needs within Oracle Utilities implementations. This role ensures solutions are scalable, integrated, secure, and sustainable, while adhering to industry best practices and platform standards. The Solution Architect may focus on one or more Oracle Utilities platforms, including Meter Data Management (MDM), Customer Care & Billing (CC&B), Customer Self‑Service (CCS), and Customer to Meter (C2M), and serves as a key advisor to clients and delivery teams throughout the solution lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Design end‑to‑end solution architectures across technical and functional domains for Oracle Utilities implementations. Translate business requirements into integrated system designs that align with client objectives and operational processes. Define solution patterns spanning core applications, integrations, data flows, reporting, and downstream systems. Design Oracle Utilities MDM architectures, including data ingestion, validation, aggregation, and downstream consumption. Define data governance, data quality, and data management strategies supporting operational and analytical use cases. Support solution design across metering, billing, customer engagement, and analytics use cases. Collaborate closely with functional consultants, technical teams, project leadership, and client stakeholders. Ensure solutions align with Oracle Utilities platform standards, implementation best practices, and RCC delivery methodologies. Identify risks, dependencies, and impacts across systems and provide mitigation strategies. Contribute to architectural standards, reference designs, and reusable intellectual property. Provide guidance and oversight during build, test, and deployment phases to ensure architectural integrity. Required Qualifications Experience designing enterprise‑scale technology solutions, including both technical and functional components. Strong understanding of utility industry systems, processes, and integrations. Experience with one or more Oracle Utilities platforms (MDM, CC&B, CCS, and/or C2M). Deep understanding of system integrations, data flows, and cross‑platform dependencies. Strong knowledge of data architecture concepts, including data governance and data quality (MDM focus). Proven ability to collaborate effectively with clients and cross‑functional delivery teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non‑technical audiences. Preferred Qualifications Prior consulting or professional services experience. Experience supporting large‑scale or multi‑system utility implementations. Familiarity with cloud‑based architectures and modern integration patterns. Experience contributing to proposal development or solution shaping activities.
