You will join a team building software solutions in the digital advertising domain.

The platform supports complex business workflows and integrations, creating architectural challenges in scalability, reliability, data processing, and cloud efficiency.

The technology landscape is centered on AWS, with Java-based backend development as the preferred technology direction.

Previous AdTech experience is welcome but not mandatory. We value strong architectural fundamentals, technical leadership, and the ability to learn and navigate complex business domains.

🔹Required Skills and Experience

- Software Architecture & Engineering

  • 8 years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in solution architecture, technical leadership, or a similar role.

  • Proven experience designing, delivering, and evolving complex distributed systems.

  • Strong understanding of microservices, event-driven architectures, asynchronous communication, and API design.

  • Ability to evaluate, recommend, and help introduce AI SDLC & engineering practices across development teams.

  • Experience with complex business workflows, integrations, and data-intensive applications.

  • Solid knowledge of architectural patterns, software design principles, and integration strategies.

  • Ability to evaluate architectural alternatives, manage technical risks, and balance business requirements with engineering constraints.

  • Strong backend engineering background with hands-on experience in Java and the Spring ecosystem.

- Cloud & Infrastructure

  • Practical experience with AWS as the primary cloud platform.

  • Experience designing cloud-native solutions using AWS compute, storage, networking, messaging, and data services.

  • Understanding of cloud security, observability, reliability, disaster recovery, and performance optimization.

  • Ability to design cost-efficient cloud architectures and apply cloud cost optimization principles.

- Communication & Technical Leadership

  • Excellent English communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to translate business needs into architectural requirements and technical solutions.

  • Experience facilitating architecture workshops, design reviews, and technical decision-making.

  • Ability to communicate architectural trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Experience collaborating with product management, engineering teams, and business representatives.

  • Ability to mentor engineers, promote best practices, and drive technical alignment across teams.

- AI-Enabled Software Development Lifecycle

  • Practical experience using AI-assisted engineering tools in day-to-day development activities.

  • Understanding of the limitations and risks of AI-generated artifacts, including correctness, maintainability, security, intellectual property, and data confidentiality.

  • Ability to establish quality gates, human oversight, and validation practices for AI-assisted development.

🔹Nice to Have

- Technology & Architecture

  • Experience with Kafka or other event streaming platforms.

  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.

  • Familiarity with AWS services such as EKS, ECS, Lambda, SQS/SNS, Kinesis, DynamoDB, RDS, S3, and Redshift.

  • Experience with Domain-Driven Design, CQRS, event sourcing, and evolutionary architecture.

  • Experience designing large-scale data processing or analytical platforms.

- AdTech & Campaign Management

  • Experience developing or architecting campaign management platforms, AdTech, or MarTech solutions.

  • Understanding of advertising campaign lifecycle, targeting, scheduling, budgeting, pacing, and performance measurement.

  • Familiarity with advertising platform integrations, reporting, attribution, and campaign optimization.

  • Understanding of programmatic advertising, DSPs, SSPs, Ad Exchanges, or related advertising technologies.

- AI & Emerging Technologies

  • Experience designing or integrating AI/ML-enabled features into software products.

  • Familiarity with LLM-based applications, RAG, AI agents, and AI orchestration frameworks.

  • Experience with AI evaluation, monitoring, and operational practices.

  • Experience introducing AI-assisted engineering practices at team or organizational level.

    🔹Responsibilities

  • Design and evolve AdTech software architectures.

  • Collaborate with business and engineering stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

  • Define approaches for complex workflows, integrations, data processing, and platform evolution.

  • Design reliable, secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud solutions primarily on AWS.

  • Evaluate architectural alternatives and document key decisions using diagrams, Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), and technical specifications.

  • Guide engineering teams through implementation, architecture reviews, and technical problem-solving.

  • Identify and address architectural risks, technical debt, scalability limitations, and performance bottlenecks.

  • Contribute to the adoption and improvement of AI-assisted software development practices.

  • Help establish guidelines, workflows, quality controls, and success metrics for an AI-enabled SDLC.

  • Evaluate opportunities for AI adoption in software products and engineering processes.
