CTG is seeking to fill a Solution Architect – AI opening for our client.

Location: Remote (Eastern/Central Time Zone Preferred); Travel to Buffalo, NY required every 4–6 weeks

Duration: 6 months

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and architect enterprise AI solutions leveraging Generative AI, machine learning, and intelligent automation.

• Architect and integrate AI capabilities across cloud, data, and enterprise technology platforms.

• Collaborate with Agile teams, domain leaders, enterprise architects, and stakeholders to develop conceptual, logical, and physical solution architectures.

• Translate complex AI concepts and technical solutions into business value, clearly communicating options, tradeoffs, and recommendations.

• Participate in solution design, development, testing, deployment, and architecture governance activities.

• Research emerging AI technologies and industry trends, evaluate technical approaches, and recommend solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards.

• Identify architecture risks, dependencies, and compliance considerations, escalating issues as appropriate.

Scope of Responsibilities:

• Support assigned portfolios by developing comprehensive, scalable, and secure AI solutions aligned with enterprise architecture principles, business capabilities, and financial targets.

• Collaborate with domain subject matter experts and other architects to resolve technical challenges, leverage existing technology resources, and support dependent products.

• Contribute to architecture standards, governance, risk management, and solution quality assessments.

• Create, enhance, and present architecture artifacts and deliverables, demonstrating personal ownership of solution design and technical outcomes.

• Work effectively with stakeholders across varying organizational levels while promoting collaboration and innovation.

Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:

• No direct supervisory responsibilities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, technical leaders, enterprise architects, and business stakeholders to support successful solution delivery.

• Demonstrate urgency, accountability, and proactive communication throughout architecture and delivery activities.

Education and Experience Required:

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant work experience, or a combination of at least 9 years of higher education and/or relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.

• Demonstrated experience as a Solution Architect, including ownership of architecture artifacts, technical designs, and deliverables.

• Experience designing enterprise AI solutions using Generative AI, machine learning, and intelligent automation.

• Experience architecting and integrating applications across cloud, data, and enterprise platforms.

• Experience with multiple programming languages, software architecture principles, and design patterns.

• Experience in software or service engineering and technology delivery.

• Ability to translate complex AI and technical concepts into business value and communicate effectively with stakeholders at varying organizational levels.

• Ability to research, evaluate, and articulate multiple technical approaches and apply emerging technology trends to business initiatives.

• Ability to demonstrate urgency, collaborate effectively, and clearly articulate personally created architecture artifacts and deliverables.

Education and Experience Preferred:

• Graduate degree in a technical discipline.

• Experience in two or more technical roles related to banking technology design.

• Experience delivering enterprise-level technology presentations.

• Experience working in an Agile environment.

• Industry-recognized certifications in programming languages or cloud technologies.

• Experience in the financial services or banking industry.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $43.06 - $71.76/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
