Solutions Engineer II, GRC (Archer) (Hybrid)

Role Overview:

Could you be our next Solutions Engineer II, GRC (Archer)? Globe Life is looking for a Solutions Engineer II, GRC (Archer) to join the team!

In this role, you will be responsible for owning the configuration, optimization, and day-to-day management of our GRC platform.

This is a hybrid position located in McKinney, Texas (WFH Monday & Friday, In Office Tuesday-Thursday).

What You Will Do:

Technical Implementation Support

• Conduct requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders.
• Translate requirements into user stories, create functional and technical documentation for implemented solutions.
• Perform platform configuration tasks under minimal supervision including forms, workflows, reports, etc.
• Identify opportunities to use and/or implement AI-powered features/tools to improve operational efficiencies.
• Develop and execute test plans for platform changes and enhancement/change requests.
• Review and analyze enhancement/change requests from business for potential enterprise-wide impact.
• Manage individual project tasks and small workstreams with minimal oversight.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and backlog prioritization.
• Track milestones, risks, dependencies, and deliverables for platform initiatives.
• Communicate project status, risks, and blockers to team lead.

Operational Support & Continuous Improvement

• Provide operational support, routine data management, basic administration support, and report/dashboard support.
• Troubleshoot GRC solution and platform issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes.
• Maintain and improve platform documentation and training materials.
• Coordinate with business to test and deploy changes to production following established change management and release processes.
• Provide training, documentation, and guidance to internal stakeholders to ensure consistent and effective platform use.
• Provide ongoing support and clarification for implemented GRC solutions, acting as subject matter expert.
• Conduct business process analysis to identify inefficiencies and make recommendations for improvement.
• Monitor platform performance, data quality, and user adoption.

What You Can Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Information Assurance, Business or related field.
• 5+ years in Software Development, Information Security, Privacy and/or GRC related role.
• 2+ years of experience configuring at least one GRC platform (Archer, Resolver, Wolters Kluwer, or similar).
• Industry Certifications (e.g., GRCP, CRISC, etc.) (preferred).
• GRC Platform Specific Entry Level Certifications (e.g., Archer Certified Associate, etc.) (preferred).
• Working knowledge of GRC concepts (e.g., laws/regulations, controls, policies, etc.) and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, SOX).
• Experience working on one or more GRC programs (e.g., policy mgmt., compliance mgmt., vendor risk mgmt., etc.).
• Hands-on experience configuring at least one enterprise GRC platform (Archer preferred).
• High technical aptitude and ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to use combination of analysis, experience and judgment to develop feasible solutions.
• Excellent time management, task planning, and prioritization skills.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Business analysis and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong knowledge of SQL queries, scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, etc.), and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, etc.).
