Thanks for your interest in working on our team! We are currently looking for a highly motivated Solutions Engineer (M/F/D) to join our Solutions Engineering team in Munich/Germany or Gdynia/Poland . Principle duties and essential functions Providing expert knowledge of WDM to the regional pre-sales teams Designing optimized solutions to fit customer specifications, taking both the technical and economical perspective into consideration Completing and supporting the technical part of tender responses Providing technical sales material on Adtran's solutions to regional Solution Engineers and Sales Managers Preparing and delivering customer presentations Training of pre-sales personnel on products, solutions and tools Feedback on market trends to Business Development and Product Line Management Knowledge, skills and experience required Degree, or equivalent, in electrical engineering, telecommunications, computer science or physics Working experience in the area of network providers, data centers, system integrators or telco / router equipment manufacturers Advanced Knowledge of Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) Strong ability to work to given deadlines with short response times Excellent presentation and communication skills Ability to take fast, autonomous decisions and work on own initiative Excellent team worker Flexibility to travel worldwide Language skills: Fluent in English (both written and spoken), additional languages are beneficial A working knowledge of Microsoft office applications Benefits Possibility to work in an international, multicultural environment Strong team-oriented and friendly work culture Flexible working hours model and the possibility of mobile working Internal training program Kindergarten allowance as well as drinks and fruits for free Employee discounts e. g. for events and branded products
