Solutions Engineer (f/m/x)

We are looking for a high-energy, dynamic, and passionate Solutions Engineer based in Germany to drive our technical sales engagements across the DACH region and beyond. In this pivotal role, you will combine deep commerce domain knowledge with an AI-first mindset to architect solution offerings, build inspiring demos, and help enterprise customers unlock the future of autonomous commerce. You can work remotely from anywhere in Germany, traveling for customer and partner meetings (mainly DACH region), industry events, and internal team syncs. What You’ll Be Doing Technical Discovery & Deal Solutioning Lead deep-dive discovery sessions with prospect tech teams, Enterprise Architects, and CTOs to map out their current commerce architecture, pain points, and requirements with confidence, clarity, and charisma. Design tailormade, composable solution blueprints demonstrating how Emporix’s software integrates seamlessly with the customer’s existing technology ecosystem. Identify gaps between prospect requirements and standard product capabilities, working with Product Management to evaluate workarounds, extensions, or future roadmap alignment. Proactively prototype light integrations or custom proof-of-concept ideas on your own to demonstrate technical feasibility fast. Demo Creation & "Art of the Possible" Storytelling Build, customize, and deliver high-impact product presentations and live demonstrations tailored to senior enterprise stakeholders with infectious excitement. Leverage AI capabilities to craft tailored demo environments quickly, even in fast-moving scenarios with minimal preparation time. Clearly translate complex architectural components and AI execution into tangible business value for customers. Get hands-on with front-end components, APIs, and AI prompt workflows to turn static concepts into engaging, living customer experiences. Technical Proposals & RFP Management Lead the technical execution of Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) processes for enterprise accounts. Author technical solution concepts and proposal documentation that address customer concerns and secure agreement. Team Collaboration & Market Feedback Work closely with our Go-To-Market team to drive deal strategy and execution. Serve as the technical voice of the customer, collaborating closely with our Product & Engineering teams to assess technical feasibility and influence software development roadmaps. About You Language Mastery: Native German speaker with excellent business-fluent English (written and spoken). AI-Native Mindset: You live and breathe modern AI technology. You naturally leverage AI tools in your daily work and understand how machine learning, LLMs, and intelligent automation transform enterprise software. Seniority & Experience: 5+ years of experience in pre-sales, solution engineering, or technical consulting within B2B enterprise SaaS environments. Technical Savvy: Comfortable with microservices, APIs, cloud-native technology, and basic scripting/frontend frameworks (e.g., React) for tailoring demo environments. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. Mindset: Curious, eager-to-learn, pragmatic builder, autonomous, and comfortable thinking on your feet in dynamic customer engagements. Social & Great Communicator: Warm, relatable, and an exceptional communicator. You love connecting with technical teams and executive buyers alike, effortlessly building rapport and translating complex technical ideas into clear, compelling narratives. Travel Flexibility: Open to and genuinely enjoying business travel as needed for customer and partner meetings (mainly DACH), industry events, and internal team syncs. Bonus Points Commerce Domain Knowledge: Strong, hands-on background in Digital Commerce / E-Commerce (B2B, B2C, or Headless/Composable architectures). You speak the language of ERP, PIM, OMS, and enterprise commerce workflows. Experience with BPMN / Workflow Engines or process automation tools. Hands-on experience working with AI agent frameworks or prompt engineering in sales engineering workflows. Prior experience in a fast-moving, high-growth startup environment.
