Solutions Lead

Rapid Indigo | Oxford, hybrid | Permanent, full-time | £55,000–£65,000

Do you enjoy getting to the bottom of how an organisation really works, using cutting-edge technologies to create the system that fixes it? We’re a small team with big clients, and we’re looking for someone who wants to be part of what comes next. You’ll see the difference you make, and so will we.

About us

Rapid Indigo helps organisations replace scattered spreadsheets and disconnected systems with reliable operational systems, mostly built on Airtable, combined with automation and AI. Our clients range from global pharmaceutical companies to Oxford colleges and charities. We are a small but growing Airtable Gold Services Partner.

The role

As Solutions Lead, you’ll run client projects from first conversation to go-live: understanding the problem, designing the solution and building it yourself. You’ll also set the standard for how we deliver, and coach colleagues to build well and look after clients.

What you’ll do

  • Lead discovery workshops and get to the real problem behind each request
  • Design and build Airtable bases, interfaces, automations and reporting
  • Plan and carry out data migration and testing
  • Be the main point of contact for your clients, including scope changes and difficult conversations
  • Own our testing, release and change management practice, and review builds before they reach clients
  • Coach colleagues on system design, build practice and client care

What you’ll bring

  • You’ve led client or user-facing projects from requirements to go-live without day-to-day supervision
  • You’ve configured or built business systems that people rely on every day, in Airtable or a comparable platform such as a CRM, Power Platform, Salesforce or Zoho
  • You’re confident with data: relational structures, cleansing and migration
  • You test carefully and protect live systems and data
  • You communicate clearly with technical and non-technical people, and you always follow up
  • You’ve trained, supported or coached colleagues or users

You don’t need Airtable experience; we’ll teach you. You don’t need a software development background either. What matters is that you can turn a business problem into a working system and see it through.

This could suit you if you’ve been an implementation or onboarding consultant, a business analyst who also builds, or an in-house “systems person”.

What we offer

  • £55,000–£65,000, plus a bonus linked to company and individual performance
  • Hybrid working: at least two days a week in our Oxford office, plus occasional client visits
  • Dedicated time to build your skills in technology and AI, with support towards certifications
  • Real influence in a small team, with room to grow into a technical lead role

How to apply

Apply through this link [https://airtable.com/app15In0t5GhhXkLi/pagbVUxHz4RLKxBHQ/form] with your CV and a short written answer to this question: Tell us about a system you designed and delivered. What was the business problem it was solving, what did you build, and how did you check it worked?

Closing date: 8th November. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

Our process: a 30-minute video call, then an interview and practical session in Oxford, including a short client role-play and a hands-on design exercise. We aim to complete it within three weeks of the closing date, and we’ll let everyone know the outcome.

You must have the right to work in the UK. Rapid Indigo is an equal opportunities employer, and we’re happy to make adjustments at any stage. Just let us know.
