The Role
You'll be our eyes and ears on the ground in China. This is an outsourced, China-based role supporting our UK Sourcing team across the end-to-end sourcing process - from product development and sample chasing through to factory inspections and delivery to our warehouses. You'll own the admin that keeps our products moving: accurate SKU and PO set-up, well-organised samples and timely, quality-checked orders.
Working closely with our UK-based Sourcing Manager, you'll help keep our orders on track and our product data spot-on. This is an mid-level role with full remote support from our UK Sourcing Managers and regular travel to supplier factories, so it's perfect for someone organised, detail-loving and keen to learn how great product gets made.

What You'll Do
You'll join our Sourcing team within Operations, working hand in hand with our UK-based Sourcing Managers, our supplier factories and the teams across Papier who rely on accurate product data.
• You'll set up and manage SKUs and POs - creating new products in our internal sheets and Netsuite, raising orders, amending existing POs (quantities, dates, pricing) and keeping our PO tracker and Master accurate.
• You'll book and manage inspections - arranging pre-shipment and in-line inspections with factories and inspection agencies, keeping inspection workbooks up to date and flagging any failures or delays to the Sourcing Manager straight away.
• You'll keep samples moving - chasing suppliers for development and production samples against critical path deadlines, and helping produce, organise and distribute samples for our online and wholesale teams.
• You'll keep our product data accurate - gathering product information from suppliers, maintaining our Product Master and Notion, and getting the right data to other teams when they need it.
• You'll support our compliance work - collecting EUDR data points and validating material declarations from suppliers and working with our Design team on barcodes and carton labels, then checking suppliers get them right.
• You'll be our on-the-ground contact for factories - supporting new supplier onboarding (documentation and compliance checks), sending sample feedback, taking notes in supplier meetings and escalating issues to the Sourcing Manager when needed.
• You'll keep projects on track - updating our Monday.com boards to track sourcing milestones and the critical path, responding to team requests during UK/China overlap hours and lending a hand wherever the Sourcing team needs it.
