Role Overview
The Sourcing Officer plays a vital role in identifying and attracting potential candidates to fill current openings within the organization. As a part owner of assigned roles, the Sourcing Officer is responsible for driving sourcing efforts, developing candidate pipelines, and supporting the progress of assigned roles through the initial stages of the recruitment process.
This involves utilizing various channels, including online job boards, social media platforms, professional networks, LinkedIn Recruiter, and the company’s internal candidate database, to identify and engage prospective BW-Staff. The Sourcing Officer will actively seek out passive candidates and manage the initial stages of the recruitment process, including candidate sourcing, resume screening, and virtual screening.

Responsibilities

Role Ownership & Candidate Sourcing: Take part ownership of assigned roles by proactively driving sourcing activities and identifying qualified candidates through various talent pools and sourcing channels.

Internal Database Sourcing: Leverage the company’s internal candidate database to identify and engage suitable candidates for current and future job openings.

Candidate Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with potential candidates, showcasing our company’s value proposition and career opportunities while keeping candidates engaged throughout the sourcing process.

Passive Candidate Sourcing: Proactively identify, approach, and engage passive candidates who may be a strong fit for current or future opportunities.

Resume & Candidate Screening: Review resumes and candidate profiles against role requirements and conduct initial virtual screenings to assess suitability before progressing candidates through the recruitment process.

Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, salary data, talent availability, and talent acquisition strategies to support effective sourcing decisions.

Talent Mapping: Create and maintain talent pipelines and networks of potential candidates for current and future job openings.

Collaboration: Partner closely with Recruiters, hiring managers, and other internal stakeholders to understand role requirements and tailor sourcing strategies accordingly.

Metrics & Reporting: Track and analyze sourcing metrics to measure the effectiveness of sourcing strategies and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Requirements
Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience in Recruitment Sourcing, Talent Acquisition, or a related field.

Background in sourcing and recruiting across various industries and niche roles, such as Virtual Healthcare Assistants, Developers, Accountants, and similar positions.

Strong aptitude for working with ATS and CRM systems, as well as LinkedIn Recruiter.

Experience utilizing internal candidate databases and other existing talent pools to support sourcing efforts.

Proficiency in navigating Google Workspace and Microsoft applications.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with leaders, candidates, Recruiters, and team members.

Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple assigned roles and meet deadlines.

Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing challenges and driving process improvements.

High level of integrity and discretion, with the ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters.

Familiarity with Talent Analytics and sourcing-related metrics.

Openness to flexibility in work schedule and strong punctuality are highly desirable traits for the ideal candidate.
