What we are looking for: Degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Economics); PhD preferred. Strong analytical and quantitative background, with hands-on experience in model development or data-driven problem-solving. At least 2 years of experience as quant/data scientist, experience in credit risk and time series modelling will be particularly valued (credit decisioning, IRB, IFRS9, Stress testing) Fluency on at least one of the following programming languages: Python, SAS, R and SQL. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex analyses to non-technical audiences. Fluency in English and Spanish (including the ability to write professional reports). Other languages will be valued. Willingness to travel regularly for client work is essential. Nice to have: Experience with PySpark and big data frameworks (e.g., Databricks, Hadoop) is a strong plus. Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., BCBS 239, CRR/CRD, EBA Guidelines). Understanding of machine learning algorithms, AI / Generative AI and data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, matplotlib).
