The Impact You'll Make

As a SAP IBP Operations Planning Specialist, you will help strengthen and transform our global supply chain planning capabilities by connecting tactical supply planning with short- and mid-term operational planning and execution. Your expertise in SAP IBP Order-Based Planning (OBP) and Response & Supply will play a critical role in enabling faster, smarter, and more resilient supply chain decisions.
You will work at the intersection of planning and execution, helping teams manage supply-demand imbalances, capacity constraints, material availability, and operational priorities. By improving planning processes and decision-making capabilities, you will help deliver stronger customer service, more efficient operations, and better business outcomes.
This is an opportunity to influence how planning is performed across the value chain while collaborating with global teams across manufacturing, procurement, logistics, customer service, and supply chain planning.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Design and enhance SAP IBP Operations Planning capabilities, with a strong focus on Order-Based Planning, to improve end-to-end supply chain execution.
  • Translate business requirements into SAP IBP solutions, including planning models, master data structures, planning parameters, planning runs, and application settings that support operational excellence.
  • Support planners in managing constraints and exceptions, helping identify supply-demand gaps, material shortages, capacity limitations, and other operational bottlenecks to create feasible supply scenarios.
  • Enable data-driven decision-making through scenario planning, simulations, prioritization rules, allocation processes, and exception-based planning practices that improve service and operational performance.
  • Collaborate across functions to strengthen integration between SAP IBP and SAP S/4HANA and support a connected planning process spanning Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Planning, Operations Planning, and execution.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP Integrated Business Planning (SAP IBP), particularly Order-Based Planning (OBP) and Response & Supply.
  • Solid understanding of constrained supply planning, allocation, order confirmation, deployment, and operational planning processes.
  • Experience working with SAP S/4HANA integration, including relevant supply chain master and transactional data.
  • Knowledge of end-to-end supply chain planning processes, including Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Planning, S&OP/S&OE, Operations Planning, and execution.
  • Experience with exception-based planning, scenario management, and supply chain decision support in complex operational environments.
