Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Work on the quarterly and annual reserve reviews, prepare high quality reports for Actuarial related processes.
  • Produce actionable insights for wider business, communicating results and their implications.
  • Perform preliminary reserving analyses for actuarial modeling
  • Perform preliminary calculation and production tasks required to support reserving activities, including ensuring a strong quality control element
  • Measures performance of actual vs. plan and performs some analysis to identify drivers and flagging events for further analysis identifying unfavorable trends/data discrepancies
  • Perform large claims analysis.
  • Assist with the quarterly reserve/ capital analysis and review of actuarial estimates and reports.
  • Assist with reporting for the different entities around the group.
  • Assist in the establishment of technical provisions/ capital for Solvency II and other regulatory bases.
  • Collect and aggregate external benchmark data for use in the peer review process.
  • Perform additional project work including deep dives of Insurance and Reinsurance lines
  • Provide support for other Group Functions (Finance, Risk, Investments) as required.
  • Technical documentation for the actuarial analysis performed
  • Improve and update new and existing processes.
  • Review work of other team members and mentor the junior folks

Bachelors - Business Analytics, Bachelors - Computer Science, Bachelors - Statistics, Masters - Data Science
