Where Your Work Moves the Needle.

At Pebl, every team member drives our success. Joining us means more than filling a role—you’re accountable for results and impact. Our values guide how we operate, execute, and collaborate across borders. By putting them into action, you’ll help us scale faster, compete harder, and lead the future of global work.

We are seeking an experienced Specialist to deliver seamless, compliant onboarding, offboarding, and ongoing HR operations for enterprise clients and supported employees in Brazil. This role owns an assigned portfolio end to end and coordinates cross-functional dependencies to ensure customer launches are accurate and timely. The ideal candidate combines strong knowledge of Brazilian employment and labor regulations and hands-on Brazil onboarding experience with customer focus, sound judgment, and technical fluency across HRIS integrations, APIs, spreadsheets, and reporting. They communicate clearly and use data and feedback to solve problems and improve the employee and client experience. This is a hybrid role based in Medellín, Colombia; only current Medellín residents will be considered.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Own end-to-end onboarding, offboarding, and ongoing operational delivery for an assigned portfolio of enterprise clients and supported employees in Brazil, supporting successful launches and efficient operations as customers grow.

  • Create and manage Brazil-specific onboarding plans, timelines, required documentation, registrations, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations; communicate progress, risks, and next steps clearly.

  • Partner with Product, Sales, Payroll, Legal, Support, Immigration, Client Services, and external providers to resolve operational challenges and deliver timely, accurate, and compliant outcomes.

  • Provide accurate, customer-focused support to clients and employees in Brazil on benefits, payroll, expenses, employment documentation, and other HR matters.

  • Apply Brazilian employment and labor laws and HR regulations, relevant collective agreements, internal policies, and operating responsibilities; identify compliance gaps and coordinate corrective action.

  • Track onboarding timelines, case status, resolution-time SLAs, and service quality while building trusted relationships and maintaining a high-quality experience in increasingly complex environments.

  • Use advanced spreadsheets, reporting, data validation, and dashboard analysis to identify trends, reconcile issues, diagnose root causes, and improve accuracy, response times, and experience.

  • Build product and workflow expertise; troubleshoot HR systems integrations, APIs, data mapping, synchronization, and access issues with Product or Engineering; and contribute to automation and scalable process improvements.

  • Investigate and resolve issues, collaborate with the appropriate teams, and retain ownership through completion; share regional expertise and assist with peer and new-hire training.

The above statements describe the general nature and level of work performed by people assigned to this role and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of duties. This job description may be updated periodically based on the needs of the company and the Business Operations Department.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

To succeed in this role, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below reflect the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.

Education/Experience:

  • A strong technical or analytical degree—ideally in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Economics, or a related discipline—or equivalent practical experience is required.

  • Working knowledge of HR systems integrations and APIs, with the ability to troubleshoot data-mapping, synchronization, and access issues alongside Product or Engineering.

  • Strong spreadsheet and reporting skills, including lookups, pivot tables, reconciliations, bulk data validation, and basic dashboard analysis.

  • At least four years of relevant professional experience, including substantial HR or HR Operations experience supporting the employee lifecycle in Brazil in fast-paced, high-volume environments.

  • Hands-on experience managing end-to-end employee onboarding in Brazil, including employment documentation, required registrations, HRIS setup, payroll and benefits coordination, and client deadlines.

  • Strong knowledge of Brazilian employment and labor laws and HR regulations—including CLT, eSocial, employment documentation, statutory benefits, payroll obligations, and collective agreements—with hands-on experience applying them is required.

  • A versatile, high-ownership operator who can manage assigned work end to end, move quickly, and bring structure to ambiguity while collaborating effectively across teams.

  • Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to identify patterns, clarify complex issues, determine root causes, and recommend practical next steps.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with an approachable, empathetic customer orientation and the ability to build trusted relationships and resolve conflict.

  • Exceptional organization and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize competing demands; comfort using HRIS, ticketing, case-management, CRM, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office tools.

  • Professional fluency in Portuguese is mandatory. Professional proficiency in English is also required.

  • Current residence in Medellín, Colombia, and availability to work in a hybrid model are required. Only local residents of Medellín will be considered.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Knowledge of employment law in other LATAM countries or Canada.

  • Experience in an Employer of Record, global employment, HR outsourcing, or high-growth international environment.
