Your Contribution
To support organizational health by delivering and improving Organizational Development systems, governance and assurance processes that strengthen design integrity and organizational effectiveness across Newmont.
As a part of our team, you will
- Maintain and continuously improve Organizational Development systems, governance processes, Ways of Working and supporting tools in alignment with enterprise standards.
- Support stewardship of the approved organizational design by maintaining its authorized representation and ensuring design decisions are appropriately documented.
- Support the development, application and continuous improvement of organization design standards, structural principles, role relationships, decision criteria and conformance requirements.
- Perform periodic, risk-based organizational design assurance reviews to assess material alignment with the approved design and evaluate whether surrounding governance and operational controls are working as intended.
- Analyze structural health indicators and enterprise patterns, including layers, spans, organizational capacity, cost and structural drift, to identify material risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Identify systemic patterns and distinguish isolated discrepancies from recurring breakdowns in processes, capabilities, workflows, governance or control design.
- Prepare governance reporting, structural health insights, assurance findings and management information to support decision-making, enterprise risk escalation and Organizational Development priorities.
- Support the governance and sustainment of the Role Profile Library, including intake, quality review, role profile reconciliation, role architecture alignment, version control and ongoing maintenance.
- Provide guidance to People Business Partners and other People stakeholders on the application of Organizational Development systems, standards, governance processes and design assurance requirements.
- Coordinate the implementation and sustainment of Organizational Development programs, tools and Ways of Working, including process documentation, guidance materials, capability support, adoption monitoring and continuous improvement.
Prerequisites for your success in this role
- Bachelor’s degree in organizational psychology, organizational development, business administration, social sciences, or related field.
- Advanced understanding of organizational design principles and organizational effectiveness concepts.
- Understanding of change management principles and frameworks, awareness of how to manage and support organizational change.
- Understanding of organizational governance, assurance and Health of Discipline concepts.
- Understanding of workforce planning, organizational analytics and role architecture.
- Knowledge of organizational design technologies, including Orgvue and related People platforms.
- Understanding of Role Profile Library governance, role architecture and organizational structure management practices.
- Advanced proficiency in Orgvue and organizational design data analysis.
- Advanced facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Advanced written and verbal communications skills.
- Competent capability in workforce analytics, reporting and dashboard development.
- Competent capability in organizational assurance and governance processes.
- Competent understanding of role architecture, role profiling and organizational data structures.
- Competent capability in identifying trends, risks and improvement opportunities through data analysis.
Your work environment
This role operates within the Organization Development organization and partners closely with People Business Partners, Total Rewards, Talent Management, People Systems & Services, Workforce Planning and Business Planning as well as external consultants and advisors, industry associations and professional networks and technology platform providers.
Work Environment, Pay & Benefits:
This position is based in our Denver, CO corporate headquarters, with flexibility for hybrid work. The base salary range is 106,200- 141,600 (reflecting market rates and your qualifications). The final base pay offer will be based on individual factors such as your experience, and skills – we do not ask for or use your prior pay in setting your compensation. You will also be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on company and personal performance. Newmont provides a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision insurance, health savings/reimbursement accounts, 401(k), pension, paid time off, and family leave.
