Position Summary

We are seeking a User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Specialist for Accounting with strong accounting knowledge to validate SAP-based financial systems and reporting. This role requires expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, with an understanding of general ledger, asset accounting, accounts payable/receivable, financial reporting, and integration with other SAP modules.

The UAT Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring that financial systems function accurately and meet business requirements before go-live, serving as the bridge between finance end-users and technical implementation teams.

Location: Ahmedabad (Hybrid working model)

Shift Timings: 3 PM - 12 AM IST (Extendable as per requirements)

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute UAT test plans, test scripts, and test scenarios.
  • Validate Finance & Accounting processes including GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and Financial Reporting.
  • Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
  • Coordinate with Business users, IT teams, and project stakeholders.
  • Maintain testing evidence, documentation, and business signoffs.
  • Support system implementations, upgrades, and process improvements.
  • Track, document, and report testing progress, defects, risks, and issues.
  • Ensure test execution aligns with project timelines and governance requirements.

    • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in UAT, Finance Operations, or ERP implementations.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Dynamics.
  • Hands-on experience with JIRA or similar testing tools.
