GSK is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Key Account Manager (KAM) to join our Specialty team to launch a new Biologic Respiratory asset that significantly impacts patients' quality of life and poses a substantial burden on healthcare systems. This role is critical in driving the uptake of GSK products, building strategic partnerships, and improving patient access to innovative therapies that address unmet needs in respiratory disease management.


We are looking for candidates to cover the North East of England. This is a field-based role requiring regular presence across the territory.

In this role you will

  • Lead the end-to-end launch within the North East, translating national strategy into focused regional account plans and measurable outcomes.
  • Drive appropriate product uptake by engaging NHS stakeholders and influencing prescribing and access decisions.
  • Build trusted partnerships across the NHS, working collaboratively to identify pathway opportunities and practical solutions.
  • Communicate clinical, access and value information clearly for customers and cross-functional partners.
  • Map patient and service pathways, identify barriers and support sustainable local access to treatment.
  • Use KPIs, customer insight and knowledge of commissioning and reimbursement to monitor progress and adapt the territory strategy.
  • Have full accountability of commercial performance in your region

Why you?

Basic Qualifications & Skills:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical account management or sales, with evidence of strong commercial delivery.
  • Experience leading product launch activity from planning through to execution and performance monitoring.
  • Market access capability and experience of collaborative working with NHS stakeholders.
  • Current ABPI certification.
  • Ability to work across organisational boundaries with external experts, payors and internal cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Clear communication and influencing skills, including presenting complex clinical and access concepts.
  • Strong Matrix leadership across various teams internally to support an enterprise approach to working
  • Valid driving licence and willingness to travel

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

Please note the following skills are not necessary, just preferred, if you do not have them, please still apply:


  • Experience in specialised respiratory, biologics or another relevant therapeutic area.
  • Experience launching a high-cost medicine / end to end launch delivery.
  • Knowledge of North East NHS customers, systems and patient pathways.
  • Experience of homecare services.
  • Experience using health economics, real-world evidence or outcomes data to support access discussions.
