We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech Language Pathologist for a per diem position to join our fast growing team. Overview: As a Speech Language Pathologist at Best Home Health Providers, you will work one-on-one with patients in their homes, helping them recover from swallowing disorders (Dysphagia), Cognitive Communication, Speech and Language: Aphasia, Dysarthria, Apraxia of speech. The per diem position allows for a flexible schedule, making it ideal for SLPs looking for supplemental work or those seeking a more dynamic role in patient care. Responsibilities: Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans Deliver speech-language pathology services in patients’ homes Document visits and maintain accurate records per regulatory requirements Educate patients and caregivers Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care. Adhere to company policies and regulatory guidelines, ensuring high standards of care. Requirements: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current SLP license in California ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) 1+ year of home health or clinical experience preferred Strong clinical knowledge and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule. Current CPR Certification. Current BLS Certification. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to patient homes.
