Company Description Convenzis Group connects senior leaders, professionals, and solution partners from across the NHS and wider UK public sector to share knowledge and drive positive change. Through sector-led conferences, training, leadership development, and collaborative networks, the organization creates practical opportunities for peer learning, informed discussion, and partnership on key health and care challenges. Its work covers areas such as estates, digital transformation, sustainability, integrated care, patient flow, workforce, diagnostics, and medical sciences, guided by an NHS-led advisory board to reflect frontline priorities. Since launch, Convenzis has welcomed over 130,000 delegates and partnered with nearly 1,000 organizations to turn policy, evidence, and innovation into tangible improvements in services and outcomes. As a purpose-led organization, Convenzis reinvests profits into NHS leadership and management development and makes substantial charitable contributions to create lasting social impact.
Role Description This is a full-time Sponsorship Sales Specialist role, based in Hazel Grove with a hybrid working model that allows some work from home. The Sponsorship Sales Specialist will identify, engage, and secure sponsorship opportunities across Convenzis’ portfolio of conferences, training programs, and networks, building strong relationships with solution partners and sector organizations. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and lead generation, managing a sponsorship sales pipeline, preparing proposals and pitch materials, and negotiating sponsorship packages aligned with client objectives and event themes. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams to ensure sponsors are integrated effectively into event programs, maintaining accurate records in CRM systems, and contributing to post-event reporting and renewal strategies. The successful candidate will be expected to meet and exceed sales targets while representing Convenzis’ values and commitment to positive impact in the health and care sector.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in Sponsorship Sales and Sponsorship management, ideally within events, conferences, or professional networks.
  • Strong Communication skills, including the ability to present, negotiate, and build relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Proven Lead Generation and Sales skills, with experience managing pipelines, closing deals, and working to revenue targets.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to align sponsorship solutions with client goals and sector priorities.
  • Experience using CRM or sales tools to track activity, forecast revenue, and maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, managing time between Hazel Grove office-based activities and remote work.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple opportunities concurrently.
  • Relevant background in events, healthcare, public sector, or B2B sales is beneficial; formal education in business, marketing, or a related field is an advantage but not required.
