Job Title: Sport Communities Coordinator

Reports to: Brand Marketing – Sports & Product (title TBD)

Hybrid: Working from home for maximum 3 days per week


Your Role

We’re in business to save our home planet. This role will contribute by building and nurturing relationships with sports communities and ambassadors to optimize community engagement, enhance brand credibility and reach, and drive positive environmental impact. Engaging authentically with the communities, integrating ambassadors and sports narratives into marketing campaigns and activations, and fostering cross-functional collaboration, this role ensures that our sports and product campaigns are always rooted in sports and community credibility, and that sports communities continue to be a powerful vehicle for meaningful brand building, connecting category growth objectives with environmental action.

Your Main Tasks

  • Sports community engagement. Understand the sports communities across Mountain and Trail sports and, partnering with Ocean and Fish Category Managers, develop shared understanding of Ocean and Fish sports communities. Define and manage engagement agenda and tactics to grow community engagement, brand credibility and reach, contributing to category growth. Drive our purpose, connecting these sports communities to the environmental issues we support and that intersect with their sports.

  • Campaign development. Collaborate with the Brand Marketing team and Global Marketing, Sports and Product teams to advocate for, input, and build locally relevant sports campaigns that drive authentication within communities and measurable category growth.

  • Ambassador management. Manage our European ambassador program across Mountain, Trail, Ocean, and Fish categories, in collaboration with Global Marketing, Sports and Product teams. Through community relays and in collaboration with Ocean and Fish Category Managers, build and maintain positive and proactive relationships with European Mountain, Trail, Ocean, and River sports ambassadors and manage marketing activities with ambassadors to support our categories’ growth. Lead the planning and implementation of digital and physical ambassador summits and sport impact camps.

  • Inclusion & belonging. Work internally and with external partners to open up the outdoors to become a safer and more inclusive and accessible space for everyone and welcome diverse participants into sports.

  • Internal & external communication. Support internal employee activation around our core sports by partnering with Internal Comms team on stories, events, initiatives with our ambassadors etc. Act as an internal spokesperson for Mountain & Trail sports and support Ocean and Fish Category Managers to be the voice of these sports. Work with PR and External Communication team and act as an external ambassador to the sports communities we serve and be the voice for the sports we represent.

  • Cross-functional collaboration. Collaborate with Global Marketing, Sports and Product teams on our category marketing and sports marketing work, with focus on Mountain & Trail and strengthening understanding in Ocean and Fish. Partner with Regional Marketing teams to ensure regional focus within sport activations. Work with PR and External Communication peers to maximize external communication and media impact. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for the sports we represent and, for Ocean and Fish, with the respective Category Managers in support of our category agenda.


What we’re looking for

• Deep understanding of and authentic connection with Mountain and Trail sports and their communities. Knowledge of and affinity with Ocean and Fish sports and their communities is a strong plus.

• 25 days holidays per year (pro-rated if you work part-time)

• Pension scheme with 24.75% contribution (17.25% paid by employer and 7.5% paid by employee) enhanced with secondary pension scheme subject to eligibility criteria

• 40 EUR (net) WFH allowance paid monthly (pro-rated if you work part-time)

• Reimbursement of public transportation when commuting to the office

• Onsite catered lunches available 4 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) for an employee contribution of EUR 4 per meal
