Sportsbook Manager Sportsbook Manager in Malta: lead daily operations, optimise markets, and run engaging promotions; collaborate with Trading, CRM and Support to elevate the player experience. Our client is seeking an experienced Sportsbook Manager to oversee the day-to-day performance and operations of its sportsbook product. This role is responsible for delivering a competitive and engaging sportsbook offering, managing promotions, supporting customer and operational activities, and collaborating closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to optimise performance and enhance the player experience. Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day sportsbook operation, ensuring a seamless and engaging betting experience. Monitor sportsbook performance across key KPIs, including turnover, margin and player activity. Optimise the sportsbook offering by ensuring relevant markets, leagues and sporting events are prioritised for target audiences. Plan and execute sportsbook promotions, including free bets, odds boosts, bet & get offers and event-based campaigns. Work closely with Trading and Risk teams to ensure promotional activities are commercially viable. Support CRM campaigns by coordinating sportsbook communications across email, push notifications and in-app messaging. Collaborate with CRM teams to segment players and personalise offers based on betting behaviour. Act as the main point of contact for sportsbook platform and data providers, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Work cross-functionally with Product, Trading, Marketing, BI and Customer Support teams to improve sportsbook performance. Support Customer Support with sportsbook-related queries, betting disputes and technical issues. Prepare regular performance reports, providing insights into sportsbook KPIs and promotional effectiveness. Support the Head of Sports with operational initiatives and continuous improvements across the sportsbook function. Requirements Previous experience within online sportsbook operations or a similar sports betting role. Strong understanding of sportsbook products, betting markets and the global sporting calendar. Experience planning or supporting CRM campaigns, promotions and player engagement initiatives within an iGaming environment. Analytical mindset with the ability to monitor sportsbook performance and identify opportunities for optimisation. Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, event-driven environment. Flexibility to occasionally work evenings or weekends during major sporting events.
