This person will lead the company through a rigorous GAAP close, consolidation, revenue recognition, reporting, audit, payroll partnership, finance administration, and accounting systems environment. The role requires someone who can operate at both the technical and operational level: able to work through complex accounting questions, improve financial systems, develop a strong team, and continuously increase the leverage of the finance organization through automation, AI, clear standards, and scalable processes. We intentionally operate with a lean finance organization. Success in this role will not come from adding layers or headcount. It will come from building better operators, stronger systems, cleaner processes, and a finance function that can scale significantly without becoming unnecessarily complex. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail Ability to move fluidly between strategic issues, technical accounting, systems architecture, and hands-on execution Comfortable operating in an environment where processes are still evolving and where leaders are expected to build rather than inherit fully mature infrastructure Ability to work U.S. business hours Location The role is remote based in India. Preference will be given to Mumbai or Bangalore based candidates. Don’t hold back We understand some candidates may see the above and not apply because they don’t meet all the qualifications. We encourage you to apply anyway; we often find talented candidates that fit many other opportunities we have and look for potential too, not just what you did in the past.
