This position is responsible for implementing the sub-category strategy for assigned product families within the Electrical & Electronics (E/E) Category, under the guidance of the Category Manager. The role drives supplier competitiveness, cost optimization and supply security through strategic sourcing, supplier scouting, benchmarking and commercial negotiations. It works closely with Engineering, NPI and other cross-functional teams to support new product development, technology changes and supplier performance throughout the product lifecycle.

Your Impact:

• Develop and manage strong relationships with assigned suppliers

• Achieve cost-saving targets, support continuous improvement initiatives, and proactively manage costs to prevent unfavorable cost developments.

• Identify competitive sourcing options and execute RFQs to meet cost, quality and delivery requirements, ensuring local and global alignment before sourcing decisions.

• Lead commercial negotiations with suppliers, including specific commercial terms and Long-Term Agreements (LTAs).

• Contribute to the development and implementation of sub-category strategies within the Category team.

Your Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

• Fluent English and strong, structured communication skills

• Experience in Purchasing and supplier negotiations, with a hands-on and results-driven mindset

• Good technical understanding, including the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications

• Proficient user of MS Office applications, especially Excel; knowledge of SAP would be an asset
