Roles and Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain internal tools and automation frameworks that streamline customer onboarding, solution delivery, and operational workflows. Build and integrate AI-powered solutions and LLM-based workflows to enhance delivery processes, improve diagnostics, and accelerate resolution of customer issues. Continuously identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and improve tooling across the delivery lifecycle. Lead and/or contribute to the implementation of enterprise security and delivery solutions for F5 customers. Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with customers on web security and related technologies. Own end-to-end delivery of technical integrations, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and go-live support. Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across customer environments, infrastructure, and tooling layers. Identify potential technical risks and proactively define mitigation strategies. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure timely and high-quality solution delivery. Leverage F5 tools and platforms for implementation, automation, and API enablement. Contribute to the development and standardization of processes, tooling, and best practices to improve delivery efficiency and effectiveness. Capture and share field learnings to strengthen internal knowledge and continuous improvement. Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Proficiency in programming and scripting (Python, Terraform), with demonstrated experience building internal tools, automation scripts, CLIs, or developer utilities. Experience with DevOps practices such as CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, containerization, or orchestration. Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and experience integrating AI tools, APIs, or LLM-based workflows into operational processes. Strong understanding of core internet technologies, including TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, HTML, and related web service delivery components. In-depth technical expertise in at least two of the following areas: Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Bot Management, Load Balancing/Proxy, Cloud Networking/Operations, Data Center Infrastructure, L3–L7 DDoS protection, and CDN. Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (GCP, Azure, or AWS). Foundational experience in networking and network security, with a career progression toward deep expertise in Layer 7 technologies. Experience integrating solutions within complex environments, preferably in the software or cybersecurity industry. Background in Solutions Engineering or Professional Services, supporting large-scale enterprise customers. Experience in technical roles involving web operations, incident response, customer support, system monitoring, or similar functions. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities, with the ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex issues. Excellent communication skills and a strong focus on customer relationship management. Degree in Computer Science, Computer Networks, Information Systems, or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
