Sr, Director, Enterprise Value Creation (Transformation Lead)

Own an eight-figure EBITDA lane in a plan to roughly double earnings. Direct line to the ELT. Real equity.

Affordable Care · Finance (FP&A and Business Finance) Reports to: Head of FP&A and Business Finance · Location: Remote, with quarterly in-person leadership sessions · Type: Full-time, salaried

Stop advising. Start owning.

Affordable Care is America's leading denture and implant provider, a nearly $1B business executing a five-year plan to roughly double EBITDA. The plan is organized into six lanes, ranked by EBITDA impact. Each has a few clear metrics, an ELT sponsor, a value creation GM, and a transformation lead. You would be one of six.

You'd be the transformation lead. You know your lane's numbers cold. You frame the problem, challenge the thinking, and keep the work moving until the value shows up in the results. This is not a reporting or close role. You make the lane smarter, faster, and accountable.

Why This Role

  • You own a P&L outcome, not a slide. Each lane is worth millions of EBITDA. The largest are worth $30M+. You are accountable for that number, with the authority to change how clinics operate.
  • Real equity, not a token grant. In addition to cash, you receive an equity opportunity above $1M, tied to the same EBITDA you build.
  • The seat most associates and consultants wait a decade for. Weekly with your ELT sponsor, daily with your GM, and regular exposure to the CEO and governance committee. You are in the room where capital and priorities are decided.
  • A compressed career curve. Deliver and the path runs to GM and ELT roles. Scope is earned by results, not tenure.

The Six Lanes

You'll own one, and the lanes are ranked by EBITDA impact. Where you land depends on your background.

  1. Fill every chair. Patient demand, payor strategy, and the engine that brings patients back.
  2. Spend like the best. Cost per patient, how we incentivize, and how we run support and field.
  3. Walk them through the door. Turning consults into care through scheduling, navigation, and flexible ways to pay.
  4. Deliver the standard of care. Clinical consistency and quality, everywhere.
  5. Modernize the lab. Lab operations, systems, and cost.
  6. Build the clinic of the future. The new-clinic model and how we scale it.

What You'll Do

Own the numbers. Your lane has clear operating metrics and financial outcomes. You understand what drives them, what moving them is worth, and what is actually moving them.

Challenge the thinking, keep the relationship. Bring healthy skepticism and good questions to senior leaders and frontline teams alike. Disagree without being disagreeable.

Pressure-test the economics. Separate ideas that sound good from ideas that create value, then work shoulder to shoulder with operators to turn them into measurable results.

Carry the agenda. You'll be trusted to act with the judgment of someone close to the CEO's priorities: you know the plan, the numbers, and the trade-offs, and you hold the work to them.

Who You Are

You're likely a 2nd or 3rd-year PE associate, or a senior strategy consultant approaching Principal, at a top-tier firm. You've built a sharp analytical edge, and now you want to see your thinking become results. You're ready to stop recommending and start owning.

  • Curious. You ask the question nobody else asked.
  • Emotionally intelligent. You read the room, listen closely, and adapt.
  • Scrappy and hungry. You find a way forward when the path isn't obvious.
  • Accountable. You surface problems early and bring options to resolve them.

Grow by Delivering

Strong performance opens the door to broader scope and business leadership, including GM and ELT roles. These opportunities are earned through performance, not guaranteed by tenure or title.

Affordable Care's Mission and Vision

Since 1975, our focus has never wavered: Dentures & Implants, that's what we do.

Our vision: To be America's most trusted denture and implant provider.

Qualifications

Required

  • 4–8 years at a top-tier private equity firm, premier strategy consulting firm, or comparable investing or operating environment
  • Driver-based P&L and financial modeling, and a firm grasp of business economics
  • Structured problem solving: framing the problem, building options, recommending a path
  • Practical fluency with AI tools in your own work

Preferred

  • Private equity or premier strategy consulting background, strongly preferred
  • MBA or equivalent (helpful, not required)
  • Healthcare, multi-site services, or transformation experience

What Success Looks Like

  • Deep command of your lane's operating metrics, financial outcomes, and what drives them
  • Real opportunities identified, sized, and advanced
  • Your lane's EBITDA delivered against plan, with a record the ELT and board can point to

Is This You?

If you want a predictable role or a detailed playbook, this isn't it. If you're ready to move from recommendations to responsibility, come build something that matters.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary range: $200K - $230K. Target annual performance bonus: 25% of base. Full benefits package.

Equity: above $1M opportunity. In addition to cash, you will participate in a long-term equity program designed to deliver more than $1M of value as the plan is delivered, so your upside moves with the EBITDA you build. Equity is subject to plan terms and vesting.

Equal Opportunity Employer

Affordable Care is an equal opportunity employer. We consider all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic.
