Sr FE Engineer (Tango)

We are looking for a person who is passionate about development and ready to join the team of our Engineers to make this journey even more exciting than it is now)

What you will be doing:

• - Develop, optimize, and maintain web applications using JavaScript, React.js, and Redux.
  - Participate in planning activities
  - Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
  - Create and maintain unit and component tests
  - Collaborate with QA and AQA colleagues to facilitate automated testing efforts
  - Document frontend architecture, components, and processes for future scalability and maintenance.
  - Participate in code reviews.
  - Effectively collaborate within the team and across cross-functional teams (design, backend, QA).
  - Clearly communicate progress, challenges, and suggestions to team members
  - Contribute to improving development processes
  - Advocate for and implement necessary code refactoring to improve the codebase
  - Collaborate with the team to establish best practices for clean and efficient code

You certainly:

• Have 6+years of experience with TypeScript, React.js, and Redux
• Capable of writing high-quality code that is well-structured, flexible, reusable, and adaptable to changing requirements
• Can effectively estimate tickets and plan
• Applies high-quality code standards during code reviews
• Identifies and brings attention to missing documentation that would have been helpful. Creates that documentation for the next person
• Have good self-management skills and can work independently and effectively in a fast-changing environment
• Have an Upper-Intermediate level of English or higher
• You can be located anywhere within +/- 2 hours of Kyiv's time zone, but you have to be initially a citizen of Ukraine.
• Can legally travel abroad if needed - position may require business trips in the EU.

You probably:
Have experience with such technologies, domains, and methodologies :
- business travel domain
- micro-frontend practice
- Python-based web development
- Playwright or Cypress.io or similar
- big old project

The product we develop is a B2B booking platform for business trips, which helps users to book hotels, flights, and cars. It provides both business travelers and their travel agents with detailed itineraries and the best booking options. Every day, thousands of business travelers worldwide use our software built on modern technology.

We use:

- On FE: ES6, React/Redux,
- On BE: Python 3;
- Other tools: Git, npm, Webpack, Jira, Confluence, Sentry (or other error tracking system), Postman, Swagger.
