About the Role Join a team building high-quality software across the full stack—from cloud-native services and APIs to intuitive front-end experiences. You'll partner closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to shape technical direction, solve complex problems, and mentor teammates. What You'll Do Lead technical design and development of full-stack features for OEC's SaaS products Build scalable back-end services, APIs, integrations, and front-end experiences supporting customer workflows across the automotive parts and repair ecosystem Partner with architects and engineering leads to make sound, pragmatic technical decisions Facilitate design discussions, weighing trade-offs to balance quality, maintainability, and delivery Break complex work into clear, deliverable increments to drive predictable execution Write clean, maintainable, testable code and model strong engineering practices Champion secure, performant, observable, and resilient system design Leverage automated testing, code reviews, CI/CD, and operational feedback to continuously improve quality What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (equivalent experience considered) 6+ years building and shipping full-stack applications, including: A modern back-end language/framework Front-end development with React, Angular, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, and CSS Relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server) Automated testing and CI/CD pipelines Strong grasp of SaaS architecture, API design, microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-native development Ability to mentor engineers and influence technical direction without formal authority Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills Strong prioritization and time management in a fast-paced agile environment Adaptability amid shifting business priorities A genuine commitment to owning software end-to-end Additional Requirement Comfortable attending virtual meetings with camera on What We Offer: Full benefits starting Day 1 : Medical, Dental, and Vision 401(k) with company match Unlimited Flex Time Off plus 10 company-paid holidays Remote-first role with monthly communication stipend Professional development programs and tuition assistance Employee resource groups and exclusive employee discounts What makes working at OEC awesome?
