About Cure8
Cure8 is a managed IT and technology services provider built for the cannabis industry. We support dispensaries, cultivators, manufacturers, distributors and multi-state operators with point-of-sale, inventory and compliance systems, cybersecurity, cloud, networking and physical security, so operators can stay compliant and keep their doors open.
The role
We need a project manager to run the technology build-out for new cannabis retail and cultivation sites across the US. You will own the low-voltage scope — structured cabling, cameras, access control, networking, and POS — from procurement through testing and Service Desk handoff. In one year, success looks like every new location launches on schedule, within budget, and with clean documentation so the support team can take over without surprises.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain detailed project plans in ClickUp covering scope, schedule, budget, and milestones for multiple concurrent site builds.
- Coordinate subcontractors and field technicians across different states, confirming site readiness, equipment delivery, and crew schedules before installation windows.
- Procure and track hardware shipments (switches, cameras, cabling, POS kits) to prevent delays and reconcile invoices against project budgets.
- Run weekly site walks or remote reviews to verify workmanship, code compliance, and adherence to Cure8 installation standards.
- Monitor labor and material costs in real time, flag variances early, and propose cost-saving alternatives without compromising quality.
- Act as the primary point of contact for architects, general contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders, delivering concise status reports with risk assessments.
- Lead project closeout: collect test results, as-built drawings, installation photos, and configuration exports; coordinate handoff to the Service Desk.
- Identify scheduling conflicts and bottlenecks across the portfolio and implement corrective actions to keep all builds on track.
What you'll bring
- 8+ years of construction project management experience with a focus on IT infrastructure and low-voltage systems.
- Proven track record managing multiple simultaneous build projects across geographically dispersed sites.
- Hands-on familiarity with structured cabling, IP cameras, access control, network equipment, and POS hardware installations.
- Proficiency with ClickUp or equivalent project management software for scheduling, task tracking, and documentation.
- Strong financial acumen: budgeting, cost tracking, subcontractor invoice validation, and margin analysis.
- Fluent professional English (written and verbal) for stakeholder communication and reporting.
Nice to have
- PMP certification.
- Experience in the cannabis, retail, or regulated-industry construction space.
- Background coordinating with Microsoft 365/Teams environments for collaboration and documentation.
- Working knowledge of compliance-driven physical security requirements.
Benefits
