Position Summary
We are looking for a Sr. Manager, Demand Marketing, EMEA to lead the planning, localisation and execution of integrated demand marketing programmes across EMEA.
This role sits at the intersection of global campaigns, regional marketing, digital execution, client marketing and sales. The successful candidate will take global priorities and propositions and turn them into high-performing, locally relevant programmes that create engagement, generate qualified demand, accelerate opportunities and expand relationships with existing clients.
This is a highly collaborative and execution-focused role. You will work across country and field marketing, digital, content, product marketing, client marketing, SDR and sales teams to ensure campaigns are coordinated across channels, adapted appropriately for EMEA markets and measured against commercial outcomes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Integrated Campaigns & Demand Generation
- Lead the development and execution of integrated demand generation programmes across EMEA.
- Translate global campaign strategies into effective regional programmes aligned to EMEA priorities and sales needs.
- Build multi-channel campaigns across paid and owned channels, including email, digital advertising, content syndication, and SDR activation.
- Develop campaign journeys that move audiences from awareness and engagement through to qualified demand and pipeline.
- Coordinate campaign activity across countries and segments to maximise impact while avoiding fragmented or duplicated execution.
- Partner with sales and SDR teams to ensure appropriate follow-up and progression of campaign-generated demand.
Localisation & Regional Activation
- Own the localisation and regionalisation of global campaigns for EMEA.
- Determine where campaigns require simple translation versus deeper localisation of messaging, creative, offers and channel mix.
- Work closely with country marketing teams to adapt programmes for different markets, buyer behaviours and sales priorities.
- Manage localisation of campaign assets including landing pages, email, advertising, content, webinars and sales enablement.
- Ensure regional execution maintains global brand and messaging consistency while remaining locally relevant.
- Identify opportunities to develop EMEA-specific campaigns where global programmes do not sufficiently address regional market needs.
Digital Execution
- Drive digital activation of EMEA campaigns across email, paid media, web, social, content syndication and other appropriate channels.
- Partner with digital and marketing operations teams on audience segmentation, targeting, campaign builds, testing and optimisation.
- Use performance data to continuously optimise targeting, messaging, creative, channel mix and investment.
- Champion test-and-learn approaches across campaigns, including audience, creative and conversion testing.
Client Marketing
- Develop demand and engagement programmes for the existing EMEA client base, not just net-new prospects.
- Partner with client-facing teams to build campaigns supporting cross-sell, upsell, advocacy, retention and deeper engagement.
- Identify opportunities to incorporate customer stories, references and proof points into demand programmes.
- Build targeted client campaigns based on relevant solutions, customer needs and account opportunities.
- Ensure client marketing is integrated into the broader EMEA campaign calendar rather than operating as a separate activity.
Sales & SDR Alignment
- Partner closely with regional sales and SDR leadership to align demand programmes with pipeline priorities.
- Ensure campaign audiences, target accounts and propositions reflect current sales priorities.
- Create clear campaign briefs so sales and SDR teams understand the target audience, value proposition, follow-up approach and desired outcome.
- Develop appropriate sales enablement and follow-up assets to support campaign conversion.
- Establish feedback loops with sales and SDR teams to understand lead quality and optimise future campaigns.
Performance & Optimisation
- Measure campaign performance through the funnel, with a strong focus on quality and commercial impact rather than activity volume alone.
- Track engagement, conversions, MQLs, SALs, opportunities, pipeline contribution and progression as appropriate.
- Analyse campaign and channel performance to understand what is driving meaningful demand.
- Identify conversion gaps and recommend actions to improve programme effectiveness.
- Build clear reporting that communicates results, insights and recommended actions to EMEA marketing and sales leadership.
- Apply campaign learnings systematically rather than treating each programme as a standalone activity.
Planning & Operational Excellence
- Maintain an integrated EMEA demand and campaign calendar across global, regional and country activities.
- Manage campaign priorities, timelines, dependencies and budgets.
- Work with marketing operations to ensure campaigns are correctly structured, tracked and measured.
- Establish repeatable campaign frameworks and processes that enable the EMEA team to execute faster without sacrificing local relevance.
- Manage external agencies and partners where required.
Experience & Skills
Essential
- Significant B2B marketing experience, ideally within enterprise technology, SaaS, IT services or a similarly complex B2B environment.
- Strong experience developing and executing integrated demand generation campaigns.
- Demonstrated experience managing campaigns across multiple countries or markets.
- Proven ability to take global campaign strategies and translate them into effective regional and local execution.
- Strong understanding of digital demand generation, including email, paid media, web, nurture and content-led campaigns.
- Experience working with marketing automation and CRM platforms.
- Strong understanding of the B2B buyer journey and lead management process.
- Comfortable analysing funnel and campaign performance and translating data into decisions and actions.
- Experience partnering closely with sales and SDR organisations.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple programmes simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Highly Desirable
- Experience marketing enterprise technology solutions to CIO, IT, finance or other senior enterprise audiences.
- Experience with account-based marketing and named-account programmes.
- Experience developing client or customer marketing programmes.
- Experience operating across diverse EMEA markets and languages.
- Familiarity with platforms such as Salesforce, Marketo or comparable CRM and marketing automation technology.
