Your Role

The Senior Manager, Global Travel, Expense & Corporate Card leads the global strategy, governance, technology, operations and continuous improvement of three interconnected enterprise programs: Travel, Expense and Corporate Card. The position also works strategically with Global Security on travel risk management and duty of care, supporting approximately 5,000 employees, $42M in annual spend and 1,800 corporate cards.

What you'll do

  • Own the global strategy, governance, roadmap and continuous improvement for Travel, Expense and Corporate Card, balancing employee experience, operational efficiency, financial controls, compliance and business needs while standardizing, simplifying and automating processes.

  • Lead the global managed travel program and Navan Travel platform, including strategy, configuration, integrations, preferred booking-channel adoption, supplier programs, travel-spend and performance analysis, new-country readiness, and partnership with Global Security on travel risk management and duty of care.

  • Own Concur Expense globally, including governance, workflows, policy rules, audit controls, card transactions, reporting, user profiles, roles and access; partner with Finance, Accounting, Accounts Payable, Human Resources and IT to strengthen reimbursement, accounting, controls, automation and employee experience.

  • Provide global leadership for Corporate Travel & Expense Card and related payment programs, including card eligibility, issuance, limits, transaction controls, delinquency, suspension and cancellation, reporting, settlement and reconciliation, and evaluation of central payment and virtual-card solutions.

  • Serve as the IT business partner and functional platform owner for the Travel, Expense and Card technology ecosystem; own requirements and technology roadmaps and coordinate integrations across Oracle HCM/OIC, Yardi, financial systems, card providers, travel platforms and downstream payment processes.

  • Lead complex global transformation and technology initiatives from business case and requirements through RFP/vendor evaluation, design, testing and user acceptance testing, issue resolution, production readiness, change management and rollout; ensure solutions scale across regions and legal entities.

  • Lead global policy, compliance and financial-control requirements, including policy development and interpretation, control and escalation processes, internal control and audit support, data protection, access, and cross-functional reviews with IT, Security, Privacy, Legal, Compliance and Finance.

  • Own strategic vendor relationships across travel, expense, card, payment and related technology providers, including service levels, performance, escalations, roadmaps, RFPs, demonstrations, commercial negotiations, contracting, renewals and required Procurement/IT/Security/Legal/Privacy reviews.

  • Ensure programs support the full employee and organizational lifecycle and global expansion, including onboarding, transfers, organizational changes, long-term leave, terminations, acquisitions, new countries and legal entities, banking/KYC, cost objects, data feeds, testing, communications and launch readiness.

  • Develop executive reporting and KPIs, analyze program data for trends, compliance risk, savings and optimization opportunities, lead employee communications/training/self-service and escalations, and lead team resources through clear priorities, ownership, documentation, cross-training and operational resiliency.

What you'll need

  • Significant experience leading global corporate Travel, Expense, Corporate Card, Payments, Finance Operations or related programs, with strong knowledge of corporate travel operations, expense management, commercial cards and payment programs.

  • Experience owning or managing enterprise Travel, Expense or financial technology platforms; experience with Navan and SAP Concur, or comparable enterprise platforms, is preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience leading complex global projects, transformations and technology implementations, including requirements gathering, system integrations, testing and user acceptance testing.

  • Experience with enterprise HR, ERP and financial-system integrations; familiarity with multi-system environments connecting employee, travel, expense, card and finance data is preferred.

  • Experience managing strategic vendors and leading or participating in RFPs, vendor evaluations, contracts, renewals and commercial negotiations.

  • Demonstrated ability to partner across IT, Finance, Accounting, Accounts Payable, Treasury, Human Resources, Procurement, Legal, Privacy and Security within a complex global organization.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate operational and financial data into actionable recommendations and executive-level reporting.

  • Excellent written, verbal and executive communication skills, including the ability to lead change, develop training and communications, and manage complex stakeholder and employee issues.

  • Ability to lead multiple strategic and operational priorities and develop team resources, scalable processes, clear ownership and resilient global operations.

  • Preferred experience supporting multinational organizations across North America, EMEA and APAC; implementing programs across countries and legal entities; and working with commercial card/virtual payment providers, global payment solutions, travel risk management and corporate travel supplier programs.
